About Us
Insulation Contracting Services Limited was formed in March 1982 by a management team with extensive knowledge of our industry and quickly grew into one of the largest independent Asbestos Removal and Thermal Insulation Contractors in the Midlands Area. During the ensuing years we have gained considerable experience and expertise in the organisation and completion of contracts of all sizes and specifications. We built up a solid reputation and became Preferred Contractors for the majority of the Local Authorities, NHS Trusts, HMP Services, Consulting Engineers, National Construction Companies and Major Industrial Concerns where our experience of operating in close proximity to our clients workforce has proved invaluable. This same confidential and sensitive approach is also appreciated by the owners and managers of small and medium sized businesses who wish to maintain their production processes whilst removal works are undertaken. Thus, providing us with extensive knowledge and experience of working within occupied premises ranging from domestic properties to ongoing contracts within major manufacturring units.
We are very proud of our team as they uphold our stong commitment to health and safety and as a result we have never had a prohibition, enforcement or improvement notice from any enforcing authority. All our site personnel also hold current CRB checks and CSCS cards in addition to the statutory training requirements as an absolute minimum. Our operatives are further trained to ensure that they are competent to carry out the task presented to them. As such we have retained our directly employed workforce and all of our management team have risen through the ranks clocking up in excess of 100 years experience between them.
We hold a full 3 year unconditional asbestos license, £10m insurance cover and Waste Carriers Certificate. We are accredited to Constructionline, SafeContractor, CHAS, RoSPA, BHSEA. We are also full contracting members of ARCA and have won their National Training Award for the last 2 years in recognition of our teams high standard of training results and the Regional Awards for the 2 years before that, proving that our team is simply the best.
